The Project
Jo and Dio invited our team to capture an intimate family ceremony, with an emphasis on doing things different. Once we saw the black wedding dress and platform boots, we knew we were in for an unforgettable day!
The Venue
Lilly Creek Farms is a beautiful venue nestled in Dawsonville, Georgia. The Ceremony site rests on a tranquil 200-acre estate with a private lake surrounded by open-level pasture land that has a natural curtain of trees that climbs the ridge behind the lake.
Their Story
Jo was born and raised in Georgia, while Dio is from Tennessee. After begrudgingly agreeing to go on a trip to Tennessee (she made it clear she did NOT want to be there), curiosity got the better of her and she decided to peruse Bumble, the dating app. It wasn't until Jo was leaving Tennessee that she matched with Dio and they began talking to each other. The connection was immediate, and it was like they had known each other for years. The two talked every day, went on a few Facetime dates, and eventually agreed to meet in person after only a month of knowing each other. It didn't take longer after that for Jo and Dio to realize they were meant to be together forever, and just two months after their 1 year anniversary they were married!
Their Response
My husband and I literally cannot explain how AMAZING Sonder Media House is!!! My wedding video looked like a movie trailer and I have heard TONS of people say they would watch it! Not only was the quality of the video great, but the artistic vision. Not everyone likes ‘alternative weddings’, but Sonder Media House really helped bring my eclectic wedding to life and I’m so thankful. They are also super fun and easy to work with!
